Professional guide, interesting stories
All stories in this Guide have been prepared by experts who are passionate about the city and their trade. We have teamed up with professional writers and historians to record an audio program that was specially crafted for interactive use. Today our Prague Electronic Tour Guide contains more than 8.5 hours of captivating stories. We hope that you will enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed bringing these stories to you – and we are sure that you will learn a great deal about the city and its compelling history.
Guide in my language
The Guide is already available in English, German, French, Italian, Russian and Spanish – and you can switch between languages at any time in only a couple of clicks. We are constantly updating your Guide and adding new languages under its belt.
A bicycle? Segway? Scooter? Why not?
Not only will your Guide sense where you are, it’ll also check whether you’re walking or, say, skating or riding your bicycle. If you’re moving too fast, it will only give you short descriptions of sights you are passing by. To hear a more detailed story, simply stop or slow down to a walking pace.
How it works
The embedded GPS module determines position of the device and travelling direction. Sophisticated algorithm guided by the geo-location data, creates an non-linear story structure that relevant to the audio-guide position, chosen direction and comfortable for listener to follow.
Time to time when a logical fragment of the story ends, audio-guide offers directions to other city attractions, where the listener could go. It gives to the listener an opportunity to discover all interesting or even hidden places not covered by standard tourist tracks.
Moreover the audio-guide is equipped with a simple navigational function that allows to save up to four locations. When navigational function is activated, the audio-guide periodically suggests direction and informs about distance to the chosen point. You can save location of your hotel, mark a nice café or any place of interest to get back there later.
